Cameroon UK based Christabel Angafor is repenting Cameroon in the Miss Africa Great Britain 2016.

Christabel is a Nursing student and is passionate about DISABILITY. In her own word she said 

" My platform or the reason for applying for Miss Africa Great Britain  is to raise awareness on Disability in Africa. According to recent statistics they are over 600 million persons with one form of disability or the other world wide. Sadly 400 million of these people are in the developing countries while over 80 million of them are in Africa.Now, within these 80 millions persons, just less than 15% of them live the life you and I will call a "normal life".
In my opinion and being an eye witness, disability in Africa is often classified as;  witchcraft,  a curse from God some times its the mothers fault or maybe some kind or reincarnation. I was deeply hurt having to eye witness a mother throwing away her disabled child because he could not talk or mobilise in anyway. According to the mother's point of view the child was a reincarnation that has come to take away the family's money through medical attention  (poor child) situations like this children end up dying on the street because their parents are ignorant and less educated about what disability is. We failed to understand that they are several types of disabilities that affect people. Within the 15% of disabled people in Africa living the life we call a normal life, magority of them are wheelchair users, that is because in Africa the people we classified or considered as disabled are those on the wheelchair..but no it is not just about Mr wheelchair. Disability is an impairment that restricts an individual's ability to partake in the  activities considered to be normal in a person's everyday life, these impairments could be physical, cognitive,  mental, sensory or intellectual.
